Wikinp Editorial Policy, Verification Guidelines & Contributor Roles

Wikinp is Nepal’s first community-driven digital encyclopedia. This editorial policy defines how articles are created, reviewed, and published to ensure factual accuracy, neutrality, and credibility. Every article passes through human verification by editors and administrators before publication — preventing misinformation, vandalism, and biased or false content from reaching the public.

1. Purpose of the Editorial Policy

Wikinp’s editorial policy exists to protect the reliability of information shared with the public. Its core mission is to verify facts, encourage transparency, and prevent misinformation or vandalism. Every article is reviewed by verified editors and administrators before publication to ensure:

2. Article Submission Methods

Articles can be submitted to Wikinp in two official ways:

  1. Guest Submission: Articles submitted without logging in. Guests cannot edit or delete after submission. Articles remain in “Pending Review” until verified by editorial staff.
  2. Registered Contributor: Logged-in users can write and edit their own articles. Their author name appears in the article’s edit history. They cannot delete content.

Both submission types undergo manual human review before publication. This process ensures that no AI-generated, biased, or unverifiable information is automatically published.

3. Editorial Roles & Responsibilities
