Wikinp is Nepal’s first community-driven digital encyclopedia built on human verification, editorial accountability, and factual accuracy. Unlike open-edit platforms, no article, edit, or update is published automatically. Every contribution is reviewed by verified editors and administrators before becoming public.

1. Purpose of the Editorial Policy
This policy defines how content on Wikinp is created, reviewed, edited, and approved. Its primary purpose is to protect readers from misinformation, paid promotion, conflicts of interest, and unverifiable claims.

2. Mandatory Source & Verification Rule
Every Wikinp article must include a minimum of three reliable references. Articles without proper sourcing are not approved.
- At least three reference must come from the Wikinp Verified Sources list
- Remaining references must be from independent news media, academic publications, or official government records
- Local news sources are allowed only if they are editorially independent and have no relationship with the subject
❌ Paid articles, sponsored content, PR material, self-published blogs, personal websites, organizational websites, and social media posts are not accepted.
No section or claim is approved without a supporting reference.
3. Conflict of Interest & Paid Content Policy
- The article subject cannot be the author
- Family members, employees, or associates cannot write about the subject
- Organizations cannot write articles about themselves
- Paid, promotional, or political content is prohibited
4. Article Submission Process
- Each article must include references before submission
- Every section (H2) requires at least one source
- Articles without references cannot be submitted
- All submissions enter Pending Review

6. Editing an Existing Article
- Admins & Editors can edit directly
- Article owners can edit their own content
- Normal users submit edits as suggestions only

- Only approved suggestions modify articles
8. AI-Generated Content Policy
- AI tools allowed only for assistance
- Minimum 90% human-written content required
- All facts verified by editors
9. Transparency & Anti-Vandalism
- Only logged-in users can contribute
- Only administrators can delete content
- All edits are logged internally

Wikinp documents verifiable knowledge related to Nepal. Topics without independent coverage or public significance are not accepted.
